Minnie Heart* is a Canadian illustrator and musician who draws (and paints and prints) posters, album jackets, illustrations, logos, little books, calendars, cards, and all sorts of nonsense.  As someone immersed in the music world, a lot of her work has to do with music in one way or another.

 

Her style often draws inspiration from commercial & popular art of the early 20th century - ads, sheet music covers, signs on buildings, comics, games, matchbooks, catalogues, etc.  Hand lettering is one of her favourite things.
